In a letter by The Elevators and Niseni’s representative, Vusi Leeuw Consulting, the request is that the South African Music Performance Rights Organization (Samphra) should halt any royalties to be paid to Open Mic, Ziyenzeka Entertainment record labels and Bello no Gallo.

The letter further request to refrain from making distribution of the owner’s share of needle-time revenue to Open Mic and Ziyenzeka record labels pending the outcome of the issues raised.
