South Africans Lash Out At MTV: It would actually take a lot for South Africans to turn a blind eye and deaf ear to injustice and partiality.

MTV announced that they would be airing a new doccie series which was aimed at shedding light on Gender-Based Violence (GBV). This idea was okay until they announced the people who would be a part of it.

The series would be casting Big Zulu, Bujy Bikwa and Uncle Vinny. This news didn’t go down well with Mzansi who brought to light the fact that it was very contradictory to cast these men for a show that they don’t even respect.

The series would be premiered on March 2022 but South Africans would have none of that. They took their time to bring the misdeeds of these men to light.

In 2021, Bujy assaulted Boity Thulo in a nightclub altercation, which resulted in her being hospitalized and she had to sue him to court.

The rapper also has a history of being abusive to a woman; he reportedly spent a night in jail in 2018 after he was arrested for allegedly assaulting his baby mama.

“Wasn’t Big Zulu arrested for beating his baby mama sometime in 2018 and didn’t Bujy assault Boity last year?” A fan asked.

Someone else also claimed that Uncle Vinny shamed and insulted dark skinned girls. Considering all of these, South Africans claim the three of them are unworthy of the show, and MTV should have a rethink.
