Friends is arguably the most popular TV of all time. Despite ending back in 2004, fans can still be found watching it from time to time even in 2020. The American series is full of characters, moments and jokes that are enough to make people laugh and cry.
Everyone was sent in a meltdown when it was announced the beloved TV show will be having a reunion but the Coronavirus pandemic led to rumours that this reunion might be canceled.
David Schwimmer who plays the role of Ross Geller, who is a paleontologist and loves Rachel Green, dismissed such rumours and assured fans by saying “There’s definitely going to be a Friends reunion. We have a lot of the creative aspects of the show worked out. It’s unscripted but there are going to be some surprise, funny bits. The real questions is when and we’re still trying to figure that out because we want to do it when it’s safe to do so for everyone.”
Other than David Schwimmer, other main leads of the show like Matthew Perry, Courtney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow and Jennifer Aniston will also be available for a reunion. As the last time, there was reunion, Perry was not able to attend.
David further added “I can tell you that we are hoping to shoot [the reunion] in August, in mid-August, but honestly, we will do it when it’s safe. There has always been a hope that a component of that reunion show will have a live audience, which makes the whole thing really tricky. We are obviously not going to risk anyone’s health by doing this.”
