Popular Show Promoter Threatens DJ Maphorisa: Talented and versatile South African disk jockey and music producer, DJ Maphorisa is in a big debt mess.

A popular promoter who goes by the name, Thabiso Floyd Tshabalala, with the Twitter handle @francwear has dragged the award-winning music maker out by the neck on social media.

Floyd says the DJ didn’t pay him for the upcoming Scorpion Kings concert which is to happen with Kabza De Small and he is done playing nice. DJ maphorisa’s refusal to pay him got him sending rays of threats and such.

“I am Scorpion Kings Live at Sun Arena and yes, there will be no event without me the third member. Your keeper has stolen from the wrong person this time, a person who doesn’t even like your God!!”

“I’m going to say this again, your deadline to get back to me is today at 11:59 pm or else don’t go to @KonkaSoweto tomorrow!! While you’re at it, postpone this event of mine until I give you the go-ahead!! Kind Regards Thabiso Floyd Tshabalala.

While a lot of people, fans included, are wondering what could have possibly been the reason for his outburst on social media, Floyd insists on this method, saying that the DJ messed with the wrong person this time.

He says he won’t let the concert and any other show happen till he gets settled. He also called out the record label working with the music producer to take down his songs off streaming platforms.

In one of his concluding tweets, he claims some musicians are suicidal because of Maphorisa. We can link this claim to Sir Thrill’s post about being bullied by top music acts.

“The reason why these kids are suicidal is because of people like @DjMaphorisa who promise them heaven and earth only to deliver Hell with a dash of Gucci!! I’m going to discipline you!!”
