Nigerian Afro House crooner, Niniola has come out to debunk rumours making the rounds that she had been robbed to the tune of R300,000 at a McDonald’s restaurant in Grayston Drive, Sandton.

She poked fun at the loss value as reported in the press as well as blogs to be over-exaggerated. Niniola Apata who recently launched the latest hit single, “Magun (Remix)” alongside Afro House singer, Busiswa, took to social media platform, Twitter, to correct the erroneous reports.

“lol ah ahn 8m ke na mobile phone na. there are numbers u can call to verify certain gist be4 you post. Who carries that kind of cash around lol” the sultry singer Tweeted.

Niniola‘s manager, Michael Ndika further buttressed the singer’s angle in a conversation with Pulse, Nigeria.

“She was robbed of her phone while having dinner with her friends. We are surprised that blogs are carrying the gist that she lost over R300000 in cash. Who goes around with so much cash?” he confirmed.
